Best of the Looks, Best of the Books 2/11/11
What’s on tap for your weekends, friends? I’ll be forcing myself to sit down and do my taxes (UGH), but also have dinner plans tonight with friends, brunch with friends in the neighborhood tomorrow, and hopefully a trip to the Brooklyn Museum to see the Norman Rockwell exhibit and to the movies to see Blue Valentine (finally!).
Best of the Looks:
Apparently, I share a name with this lovely lady, Nine d’Urso, featured on You Are My Fave. Too bad I don’t also share her trench coat, her legs, and her hair.
Couldn’t make it to NYC for Fashion Week and the IFB Conference? I live here, and I couldn’t even go! Luckily, many of our favorite bloggers are chronicling both events. From Me To You is even dressing the part, choosing her outfits each day inspired by fashion icons.
Tomboy Style–how have I not seen this blog before?
A sunshiney little dress from TopShop–reminds me of the 1960s!
Best of the Books:
Not only are budgets being cut and libraries downsized everywhere, but librarians have to suffer condiment-related injustices as well. Gross!
Brian Dettmer creates provoking art from books.
Shoebox Dwelling has an awesome combination couch/bookshelf. I want one!
