The cover:

I’m on a nonfiction kick lately. so I finally grabbed Consider the Lobster by David Foster Wallace from our bookshelves this morning. The cover is stark and whimsical, and it immediately inspired me to do a Coverall post.

The Looks:

Before there was the Anthro lobster dress, there was the famous Lobster Dress designed by Elsa Shiaparelli and Salvador Dali, worn by Wallis Simpson in 1937:

ha, awesome! i never would have thought to pair book and dress. for her birthday this year, i gave my mother a history of lobsters which she LOVED, it would be a great addition to the book/dress combos :)

I am loving these coverall posts! I’d love to see you do some that are less literal, too, so we can really see inside Jill’s brain :-)
