Holiday Gift Guide
I’m not much of a trend follower, but with all these holiday gift guides floating around the blogosphere, I can’t help but feel compelled to put together one of my own. Here’s that gift guide you’ve been waiting for: great gift ideas for the stylish writer/book lover in your life!
Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty : This exhibit at the Met was breathtaking, and the book is really beautiful as well. If you couldn’t make it to the show, the book is the next best thing.
I love these typographic maps from Axis Maps–Boston is pictured above, but the company also offers other cities.
A great home-made gift idea from Cupcakes and Cashmere–infused spirits in pretty bottles. (And if you’re wondering what the link is, you’re probably not a writer).
I’m a big proponent of everything that Out of Print is doing, so really anything from their shop will do. This t-shirt is just extra cute.
Glasses are cool! You can find these adorable necklaces all over Etsy, so grab one before they go out of style again.
You may be reading an iPad in there, but no one has to know with this Book for iPad cover.
Why not support the literary community and give a literary magazine subscription? Journals like The Paris Review are running holiday gift specials where you can get discounted subscriptions AND a gift (like a notebook or pretty pen).
What gifts are you giving this holiday season? What’s on your wish list?
