Coverall: One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest

The Cover:

Though I haven’t read One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest, I have seen the movie. It’s a really great movie, and I should probably read the book one of these days. I’m definitely digging this cover though–I love how the colors are psychedelic in kind of a subtle way. Have any of you read it? What did you think? Worth the read?

The Look:

Normally, I would advocate staying away from camouflage as a style motif, but there was something about the play of the colors and the time period in which the book was written that seemed to call for camo. And I also kind of love a long, sequined version of camo paired with platform combat boots, bright pink, funky jewelry, and a tailored yellow blazer. It’s just crazy enough, it might work.

You should definitely read the book. It was one of my favorite books back in high school. And if you ever get the chance to see the play, I also recommend it. Love the outfit!
