I have a fluffy knee-length one I wear for before and after showering whilst untangling hair and such, and a mid-calf-length one that is sort of frumpy and plain and just made of soft flannelesque material for nippy mornings. As someone said above, it's not terribly sassy, but it's cozy and soft and makes sipping coffee while waiting for the heat to kick on quite inviting. I suggest trying some on and making sure the sleeves aren't uber-long, because there's nothing worse than your sleeves dragging all over the place. For practicality and warmth, I recommend getting a longer one so that your bum and thighs are securely covered and snuggly. When Snuggies came out, I was like, wait.... why don't people just put on their robes backwards instead of shelling out for these things? ROBETASTIC! In the hotter months, sans AC, I like to wait as long as possible to get dressed in the mornings. But that's a little chillier in the winter, so the robe works nicely. It is not sexy or inviting or any of that, but it IS warm. My apartment gets super drafty in the winter and that thing is my go-to watching tv or reading late at night...it's like you're wearing a big fleece blanket. Like I said, don't recommend it for the "look" necessarily - but warmth and comfort? Yes, indeed. I have a fleece one from LL Bean – just like that one you featured from Lands End.
