Standing Tall
While I’m still on my shopping ban, that doesn’t stop me from appreciating cute things, like shoes. The slight uptick in temperatures and the longer days have got Spring time on my mind, and with that, comes worrying about shoes. I’ve been wearing boots nearly every day for the last 6 months–I barely remember what kinds of other shoe options there are.
One option on my summer shoe wishlist (because it’ll be summer by the time I can shop again!), is somewhat casual, neutral, and comfortable wedges. They’re ideal for the office and look cute with all kinds of outfits. Here are a few pairs that have caught my eye lately:
Dorothy Perkins Espadrille Wedges: $37
Anthropologie Last Minute Wedges: $110
Christian Louboutin Denim Wedges: $106 (on super sale)
Madewell Ankle Strap Mini Wedges: $118
What’s on your summer shoe wishlist?

Wedges are such a good shoe staple, and these are fantastic choices. I don’t tend to go for Toms (I feel like they make my legs look weird) but I can get behind their wedges.
My summer shoe wishlist includes a pair of non-ballet flat everyday shoes–something good for walking around but still stylish and polished enough to wear to work. Maybe with a little heel? Totally vague, of course, but any suggestions are greatly appreciated.
What about something along these lines, Annie? They’re still flats, but not ballet flats! http://www.shopbop.com/lovins-ballet-flat-jeffrey-campbell/vp/v=1/1552333172.htm?folderID=2534374302201780&fm=other-shopbysize&colorId=42201
I LOVE those (they don’t have my size though!) but I’ve seen a lot of other variations on the ankle strap style. Some many even have a slight heel!
I’m also intrigued by the J. Crew Etta pumps, though I’m a little skeptical of their claim to be “the heels for girls who only wear flats.”

Let me know what you end up getting!
LOVE these recommendations. Even though I’m not sure I could wear the Etta pumps all day, I am drooling over them. So pretty! And I think the flats are like the mini-wedges you posted above–just a little different but still very wearable. Thanks for looking out for my shoe needs.
My summer shoe wishlist is simple: a pair of nice white Keds. Which is crazy, because when I was younger I always felt that wearing Keds made me a nerd, but lately I’ve really come to appreciate them. I’m eyeing these, and they’re organic, bonus!

Also, can I say that I appreciate that you don’t affiliate link everything? I feel like most blogs use roundup posts like these just to get some affiliate linkage action, but I love that you legit link to the website and not to an rstyle portal or whatever. That’s for being an on-the-level blogger
.
I always appreciated the simple white Keds as well. You can’t go wrong!
And thanks for the nod to non-affiliate links. Honestly, I don’t have time for that kind of stuff, and that’s really not the point of my blog.
